Welcome to the course!

My name is Lutz Siemer. My colleague Marcus Flachmeyer and I have developed this course for you. Marcus and I have been working on the topic of blended learning for a long time and we hope that you will benefit from this course and find the topic as exciting as we do.

This is an asynchronous online course called “Introduction to Blended Learning”, which means that we will not have any formal face-to-face learning. Instead, the success of this course depends on you following the syllabus, engaging on this website and participating in the group discussions we have planned.

Let’s get to know each other. If you haven’t already, please post a message in the “Introduce yourself” group describing your background, your expectations for the course, and your concerns about blended learning or adult learning in general.
